ROAMNESSA HELP

Compatibility checker

A travel eSIM needs an unlocked, eSIM-capable device. This quick check is a guide—not a device warranty.

QUICK DEVICE CHECK

Look for an EID.

An EID is your phone’s eSIM identifier. You never need to send it to Roamnessa—this is simply a quick way to check your device.

01

Open your phone dialer

Dial *#06#. On many devices, this opens a screen with device identifiers.

*#06#
02

Find “EID”

If an EID is displayed, your phone likely supports eSIM. EID is not the same as IMEI or IMEI2.

EIDeSIM identifier found
Don’t see an EID?Check Settings for “Add eSIM” or “SIM manager,” then confirm the exact model and sales region with the manufacturer or carrier. Some phones do not show an EID through *#06# even when they support eSIM.

MODEL LOOKUP

Is my phone eSIM-compatible?

Search for the exact model in the current compatible-device catalog. Your phone must still be carrier-unlocked.

Carrier unlocked

Your phone must be unlocked to add a travel eSIM. Your home carrier can confirm this.

Correct sales region

eSIM support can vary by region, so confirm where your exact device was sold.

Sales region matters.Phones sold for Mainland China may not be compatible. Confirm your exact model and sales region in Settings → General → About or with the manufacturer/carrier before purchasing.

For Android and other brands, use the EID check above and confirm the exact model and sales region with the manufacturer or carrier.
